NCDA’s aims in 2006/7 were:
- To develop sustainable community-based regeneration initiatives addressing the economic, environmental, cultural and community needs of Newhaven, particularly addressing the needs of those most vulnerable in the community
- To maintain local community and user involvement in the development and delivery of services
- To maintain quality assurance standards within the organisation
- To continue to develop financial sustainability for the work of NCDA
- To implement the forward strategy for the continuing regeneration of Newhaven
- To facilitate and support effective partnerships between the voluntary, statutory and private sectors to address the identified needs of Newhaven
